MINSK, 3 August (BelTA) – Russia is still willing to solve the conflict in Ukraine through diplomacy, however on its own terms, press secretary for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov told the media, TASS reports.

“Indeed, Russia has been and remains committed to solving the Ukrainian problem through diplomacy, on its own terms,” Dmitry Peskov said.

He clarified that these terms are known: they were negotiated during the Istanbul talks between the delegations of the Russian Federation and Ukraine. It was the Ukrainian side that stopped the negotiation process. However, the terms put forward by Russia will be enforced ‘one way or another', Dmitry Peskov said.

He also drew attention to the fact that Kiev calls Moscow an aggressor, but at the same time accepts money from Russia for gas transit to European countries.
