MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) – Belarus has become the third country where a color revolution has failed. The Russian political analyst Kirill Koktysh pointed it out on the air of the Belarusian TV channel ONT, BelTA has learned.
The analyst said: “Belarus has become the third country after Venezuela and Hong Kong [of the People's Republic of China] where color revolutions have failed, where it was possible to work out original counteraction mechanisms.”
In his opinion, high social fairness norms in Belarus played an important role in stabilizing the situation in the country. “While choosing between revolutionary changes and the preservation of what it had the society made a clear choice,” Kirill Koktysh noted.
