MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) - Minsk is set to host an international electoral forum on 18-21 September. The event will include a meeting of the CIS Advisory Council of Heads of Electoral Bodies and an international scientific and practical conference “International Standards in the Electoral Process: Experience and Development Prospects”, BelTA learned from the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus.
Attending the forum will be delegations of the central electoral bodies of the CIS member states, scientific and expert community, students and postgraduates of higher education institutions, representatives of government bodies and organizations.
The international electoral forum will open new opportunities for the exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas, and will become a platform for open discussion. The forum will focus on security and digitalization of the electoral process, participation of civil society in elections, and legal education of young people.
