MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – The developments in Belarus have laid bare the dark side of European democracy, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said in an interview with CNN, BelTA has learned.
The minister called the EU's accusations of engineering the migrant crisis by Belarus in revenge for the existing sanctions an outright lie.
“The developments in Belarus exposed the dark side of European democracy. You saw with your own eyes what happened at the border over the past few days,” Vladimir Makei said.
