MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei is in Armenia on a visit, BelTA learned from the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
"Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei has arrived in Yerevan to participate in the meeting of the CSTO Foreign Ministers Council," the ministry said.
As BelTA has reported earlier, the meeting of the Foreign Ministers Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be held in Yerevan on 10 June. The ministers are set to discuss the international and regional security and its impact on the security of the CSTO member states.
The members of the council will be briefed on the work carried out by the CSTO Secretariat and Joint Staff to improve the organization's crisis response mechanism in modern geopolitical realities.
The meeting of the CSTO foreign ministers will be attended CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas.
