MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) - Belarus’ First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lukashevich has arrived in Brazil to participate in the meeting of the BRICS Foreign Ministers Council, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
During the meeting, the ministers are set to review the implementation of agreements and outline further steps to develop strategic partnerships to prepare for the 17th BRICS summit, scheduled to take place in Brazil on 6–7 July.
A session of foreign ministers of BRICS partner states will be held to discuss the role of the Global South in strengthening multilateralism.
