The senator said: “You know that a session of the House of Representatives took place this morning. Today we've met with Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko and discussed topical items on the agenda of the two chambers – the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic. Since we knew the president wanted to make a statement, we asked him to make a speech before the parliamentarians so that we could discuss topical matters of the foreign policy and the domestic policy. The head of state accepted our proposal.”
Natalya Kochanova added: “A joint session of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic will take place in the Oval Hall tomorrow where we will meet with our president.”
