Lukashenko thanks UN chief for appointing UN resident coordinator in Belarus

MINSK, 9 April (BelTA) – On 8 April Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations Valentin Rybakov met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They exchanged views on the state of interaction between the Republic of Belarus and the UN.

In addition, a personal message from Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko was conveyed to the secretary-general. In this message Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked António Guterres for appointing the UN resident coordinator in Belarus.
