MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) – The pool of prepared leaders is a strategic source of talent for leadership positions in the government, Head of the Belarus President Administration Igor Sergeyenko said at a meeting of the Board of the Belarus President Administration. The meeting titled “Leadership Pool: Problems and Ways of Improvement” took place at the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus on 12 April, BelTA has learned.
“Our today's meeting is going to focus on the current state of personnel pools and to outline real steps to improve their efficiency. We have to identify the bottlenecks that hold back the development of the country's managerial potential. In other words, we will do some brainstorming,” Igor Sergeyenko said.
The administration head continued: “If we go 20 years back, we will see that the head of state had already defined the leadership pool as an important and strategic way to strengthen and renew the personnel in the positions of power. Over this time, we have built a leadership pipeline based on Belarusian managerial training traditions, and the fundamental and historical values of our society.”
