Lavrov: Foreign policy agenda is gaining more prominence in Belarus-Russia Union State 

MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – The foreign policy agenda is gaining more prominence in Belarus-Russia Union State, which will bring more practical results, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told the media following a meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Minsk on 25 June, BelTA has learned. 

"Of particular importance at the current stage of the Union State development is the concentration of our efforts in the international arena to ensure foreign policy support of the integration processes that are gaining momentum and are crystallized within the framework of the Union State."

He recalled that Belarus and Russia are currently implementing 28 Union State programs, while cooperation covers dozens of priority areas. 

"The foreign policy agenda is gaining more prominence in Belarus-Russia Union State, which will bring more practical results as our activities in the international arena will be aimed at ensuring most effective development of the Union State," the minister stressed
