High-Level Group of Belarus, Russia to hold video conference on 21 January

MOSCOW, 14 January (BelTA) - The High-Level Group at the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will hold a videoconference meeting on 21 January, BelTA learned from the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

The agenda of the meeting covers a wide range of issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation: coordination of railway transportation of Belaruskali's salt rock in open wagons to Russia; restricted access of crushed stone to Russia; terms of operation of the Russian Yandex Taxi service in Belarus; integration of phytosanitary control information systems; mutual recognition of bank guarantees in government (municipal) procurement; the situation around the Zapad-Transneftprodukt unitary production plant,” the Standing Committee said.

The High-Level Group will also review the draft agendas of the next meetings of the Council of Ministers and the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

The meeting will be held by the High-level Group co-chairs: Belarusian Ambassador to Russia with powers of deputy prime minister Vladimir Semashko and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksei Overchuk. The event will also be attended by State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota, Russian Ambassador to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev, Executive Secretary of the Union State Parliamentary Assembly Sergei Strelchenko, Belarusian and Russian ministers, senior officials of the Union State Standing Committee.
