MINSK, 27 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei has had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to discuss topical issues of Belarus-Russia cooperation and integration matters, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“On 27 October Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei had a telephone conversation with Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov. They exchanged views on the topical issues of Belarus-Russia cooperation and integration matters. They also discussed coordination of activities on international platforms, including arms control issues,” the press service informed.
The parties reviewed preparations for the upcoming joint meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the Collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia that is due on 12 November.
