MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) - Western partners are voicing the need to find channels of communication with Belarus, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said in an interview to the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.
The minister commented on the results of the outgoing year, including the country's success in the foreign economic area.
Vladimir Makei stated that there are voices from the West about the need to find channels of communication with the country. “There have already been voices from our Western partners about the need to find channels of communication with Belarus. We have always been in favor of a normal, calm and constructive dialogue. Despite the funeral marches already ordered for our country, the Belarusians have passed this period with dignity and calmness. We have all become much stronger, more confident in ourselves and in the future of our country,” said the minister.
Vladimir Makei wished everyone health and happiness, balance and harmony, both within themselves and in relations with society and the state.
