MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – Any area of cooperation with Belarus has been politicized by the West, Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said as he addressed the meeting in the Oval Hall of the Seat of Government on 26 May, BelTA informs.
By certain actions of the West we see that “having failed to take Belarus at a one go, they switched to other methods,” Vladimir Makei stressed.
“Smear campaign against Belarus has become mainstream in the West,” the minister said.
In his words, what is currently going on in the west absolutely does not fit into the normal picture of international and interstate relations.
“It makes absolutely no sense to try to explain this using classical paradigms of pragmatism, people's interests, preservation of peace and stability in regions. All that is ignored by our so-called partners,” Vladimir Makei stated.
