FM: Hungary remains committed to pragmatic approach to cooperation with Belarus

MINSK, 29 May (BelTA) - Our Hungarian friends remain committed to a pragmatic and unbiased approach to building bilateral relations with Belarus, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik said during a meeting of the Belarusian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Minsk on 29 May, BelTA has learned.

"Belarus, for its part, remains committed to the principles of equal and mutually respectful dialogue, welcomes and supports any friendly proposals and initiatives, is ready to discuss and look for solutions to all issues," Sergei Aleinik said.

"I would like to emphasize that Belarus is a reliable partner, open to cooperation. We are developing strategic ties with many countries, primarily with Russia and China. You are working with them too. We have access to relatively cheap energy resources, the huge market of the EAEU, and intend to become an equal member of the SCO in the near future," the minister said.
