FM conveys message from Lukashenko to Algerian president

MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria as part of his official visit to Algeria on 14 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian ministry of foreign affairs.

The Algerian head of state received a message from Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko with concrete proposals on the development of bilateral cooperation.

The parties took note of the constructive nature of Belarusian-Algerian relations and similar positions of the two countries on the majority international issues, including the recognition of the diversity of ways of development of independent states.

The parties discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation and projects of industrial and technical cooperation. Separately, the parties touched upon interaction in education, science, technology, healthcare and tourism. The need for further intensification of the whole range of contacts, including exchanges of visits at the high and highest levels was emphasized.
