MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) - An extraordinary meeting of the CIS Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives took place at the CIS headquarters in Minsk on 11 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
During the meeting, the permanent representatives finalized the draft agenda of the meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council due in Almaty on 11 April. The document will be sent in due course to the CIS member states.
The CIS Foreign Ministers Council it is expected to consider issues of security, cooperation between the border agencies and defense ministries. The draft agenda also includes a number of issues of humanitarian cooperation.
