MOSCOW, 30 November (BelTA) - The Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) adopted a statement on military activity in the areas adjacent to the CSTO zone of responsibility, BelTA learned from CSTO spokesman Vladimir Zainetdinov.
“The statement of the CSTO Permanent Council on military activity in the territories adjacent to the CSTO zone of responsibility and its influence on Eurasian security was adopted at the session,” the spokesman said.
The participants of the meeting considered a number of draft documents related to cooperation in military security, and also planning of the CSTO activities in 2022.
The meeting of the CSTO Permanent Council was held as video conference and was chaired by Armenia's Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative to the CSTO Viktor Biyagov. CSTO Deputy Secretary General Samat Ordabayev took part in the work of the Permanent Council.
