Bishkek to host next meeting of CIS Council of Heads of Government

MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) – The next meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government will be held in Bishkek in June, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee - Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev said at the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government in Astana on 28 October, BelTA has learned.

“At the suggestion of Kyrgyzstan, it was decided to hold a regular meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government in Bishkek on 2 June 2023,” Sergei Lebedev noted.

At the Astana meeting, the heads of government exchanged views on topical issues of economic cooperation in the Commonwealth, discussed the preparation of the draft free trade agreement in services, and investment. The participants of the meeting heard out a report on preparations for the second edition of the CIS Games (2023 CIS Games) in Belarus. In addition, more than 20 documents were approved.
