MINSK, 1 April (BelTA) – The fifth session of the seventh-convocation House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus will be opened on 2 April, the press service of the lower chamber of the Belarusian parliament told BelTA.
The first reading will be given to the bills on preventing the rehabilitation of Nazism, on amending the laws on the counteraction of extremism, on amending the laws on labor relations, and on amending the laws on mass media.
The second reading will be given to the bills on personal data protection. The parliament is also expected to ratify international treaties – on Belarus' accession to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning Industrial Designs and on ratifying amendments to the International Finance Corporation Articles of Agreement.
Apart from that, Belarusian MPs will discuss the organization of parliamentary hearings “Territorial integrity and people's unity of Belarus. Historical and legal aspects of reunification of Western Belarus into the BSSR”.
The fifth session of the seventh-convocation Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus will be opened on the same day.
