MINSK, 15 January (BelTA) - Belarus firmly supports the One China principle, which is the guarantee of stability and sustainable development of the entire region, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on 13 January, BelTA has learned.
“In this regard, we consider the long-term efforts by the leadership of the People's Republic of China to preserve the territorial integrity of their country to be legal and legitimate,” the ministry highlighted.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that it was closely following the situation unfolding around the elections in China’s Taiwan.
"Any actions by third parties aimed at influencing the electoral process are unacceptable and destructive. We also categorically condemn all other attempts by external players to interfere in the internal affairs of other states," the ministry said.
