Belarusian MFA comments on threats of Ukrainian MP

MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) - The press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the request of journalists, commented on the threats of Ukrainian MP Goncharenko against the Belarusian president, BelTA has learned.

"Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have heard refined hateful rhetoric on the part of those who are ruling in Ukraine now. Suffice it to recall the recent call of the official representative of Ukraine in Kazakhstan to get more people killed. There is no need to comment on these bloodthirsty wishes. They all speak for themselves,” press secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anatoly Glaz said.

“It is precisely such rhetoric, such threats and hatred of people, including on the ethnic grounds, that largely led to the tragic events in Ukraine,” Anatoly Glaz noted. “Ultimately, this creates wars. Perhaps this is what these radicals are seeking for their fellow citizens," Anatoly Glaz said.

"Fortunately, we all perfectly understand and do not associate these loudmouths with the Ukrainian people, to whom we wished courage, strength and success in restoring a decent life. As for the deviant fantasies of MP Goncharenko, they are beyond his capacity to fulfill them,," Anatoly Glaz emphasized.
