MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik is planning to visit the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria on 14-15 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
The Belarusian minister of foreign affairs is scheduled to hold meetings with the country's leadership and talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, heads of a number of other ministries and departments of Algeria.
It is expected that the parties will discuss ways of expanding trade and economic cooperation, building up trade and investment ties, launching industrial cooperation projects. Consideration will also be given to cooperation in food security, education, tourism and a number of other areas of mutual interest.
