MINSK, 31 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov met with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Alok Ranjan Jha in Minsk on 31 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties assessed the current level of Belarusian-Indian relations, emphasizing the recent positive dynamics in trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. When discussing the plans for the next year, special attention was paid to the preparation of the 12th meeting of the Belarusian-Indian intergovernmental commission and meetings at the highest level. The parties agreed that these events should become a catalyst for intensification of bilateral cooperation in various sectors,” the ministry said.
Maksim Ryzhenkov thanked the head of the Indian diplomatic mission in Belarus for his services to the bilateral relations and efforts to expand trade and economic ties between the two countries.
