MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) – Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Iraqi Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Karim Al-Khafaji in Minsk on 9 June, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed ways of expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation, ensuring food security of Iraq and increasing supplies of Belarusian agricultural products to this country,” the press service said.
An Iraqi delegation is attending the international exhibition Belagro 2022 running in the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone on 7-11 June. This agrarian expo has drawn more than 400 companies from different countries.
