MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Belarusian Defense Ministry, Major-General Oleg Voinov has held negotiations with a Pakistani military delegation led by Chief of the International Military Cooperation Office of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, Major-General Zahid Mahmood, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The sides discussed the main directions of Belarus-Pakistan military cooperation. They noted there are considerable prospects in areas of mutual interest.
While in Belarus the Pakistani delegation visited the Military Academy where they were made familiar with the process and stages of military personnel training. The delegation also visited the Belarusian State Museum of History of the Great Patriotic War.
