Belarusian ambassador presents credentials to Lithuanian president

MINSK, 28 August (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Lithuania Valery Baranovsky has presented his credentials to Lithuania President Gitanas Nauseda, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

Valery Baranovsky talked to Gitanas Nauseda during the ceremony. The ambassador mentioned vigorous and productive interaction between Belarus and Lithuania in economy, transit, humanitarian affairs, and other spheres. He confirmed Belarus' openness to a constructive dialogue about all items on the bilateral agenda in the spirit of good neighborliness.

The Lithuania president underlined the importance of further advancing Belarusian-Lithuanian relations, which are based on tight historical and cultural ties between the nations as well as positive experience of cooperation in various fields.
