Belarusian ambassador presents credentials to governor-general of New Zealand

MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – Ambassador of Belarus to Japan with concurrent accreditation to Australia and New Zealand Ruslan Yesin has presented his credentials to New Zealand Governor-General Patsy Reddy in Wellington, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Japan.

During the ceremony, Ruslan Yesin noted that there are great opportunities for Belarus and New Zealand to step up cooperation in trade and investment, international security, sports, tourism, R&D, and high technology.

Ruslan Yesin also met with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand, business circles and academia to discuss various aspects and prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
