MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) -Belarus' Ambassador to Moldova Anatoly Kalinin met with head of Gagauzia Irina Vlah, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Moldova.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and other areas. They noted the importance of further expanding the joint production of Belarusian tractors in Gagauzia and setting up a new facility to assemble MAZ electric buses.
Irina Vlah suggested holding a meeting with the diplomatic corps accredited in Moldova in the second half of January 2021 to review the results of the work in 2020 and invited Anatoly Kalinin to attend it. The parties also agreed to maintain ongoing cooperation with a view to bolstering ties and addressing the issues of mutual interest
