MINSK, 29 March (BelTA) - Ambassador of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov met with Minister of Public Security To Lam of Vietnam, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation in the field of law enforcement, the exchange of visits of appropriate departments and personnel training. The parties welcomed the high level of interaction and a constructive dialogue at the level of heads of appropriate departments of the two countries.
The parties also considered organizing a joint production of Belarusian special-purpose equipment in Vietnam and manufacturing gear for Vietnamese fire services.
Special consideration was given to expanding the regulatory framework of the bilateral cooperation in accordance with the modern world trends.
