MINSK, 20 August (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Dmitry Derevinsky has held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela for Cooperation with Countries of Europe and North America Andrea Corao, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the full spectrum of Belarusian-Venezuelan relations, including areas of political, inter-parliamentary, and inter-regional interaction, scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation, as well as issues related to the development of the bilateral treaty and legal framework.
Trade and economic issues were examined in detail. In addition, the parties exchanged information on current and prospective cooperation projects, developed a preliminary schedule, and outlined timelines for holding bilateral political and trade-economic events through the end of 2025.
