Belarus, Uzbekistan sign program of ministerial consultations for 2024-2025




 MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) - The program of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Uzbekistan for 2024-2025 was signed in Minsk on 11 April, BelTA has learned.

The document was signed by the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Sergei Aleinik and Uzbekistan Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov, who is on a visit to Minsk. 

The program was signed following the talks between the foreign ministers of the two countries, during which the parties reaffirmed mutual commitment to expanding Belarus-Uzbekistan cooperation in all areas and taking specific steps to implement the agreements reached at the highest level.

This is the first official visit of the minister of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan to Minsk in the history of relations between the two states.
