MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas and the member of the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress Michael Quigley have discussed regional security, opportunities for expanding interaction in trade, economy, and humanitarian affairs, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The importance of additional mutual efforts to build up trust in bilateral relations was also mentioned during the meeting.
It is the first time Michael Quigley has come to Minsk. The U.S. delegation is expected to meet with representatives of Belarusian government agencies and discuss bilateral relations.
