MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – Belarus and the United Arab Emirates are interested in stepping contacts in military affairs at all levels. Major-General Valery Revenko, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department, Aide for International Military Cooperation to the Belarusian Defense Minister, made the relevant statement at a meeting with Aide to Deputy Minister of State for Defense Affairs for defense policy and communications Ali Abdulla Mohammed Al Ahmad, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The meeting took place in Abu Dhabi. The parties discussed bilateral interaction in military affairs and agreed a list of joint events, which are scheduled to take place in 2024.
The Defense Ministry said that mutual interest in intensifying contacts in military sphere at all levels had been expressed as a result of the meeting.
