Belarus, Turkmenistan hold ministerial consultations

MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) - The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Turkmenistan held web-based ministerial consultations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleksandr Guryanov, the Turkmenistan delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Berdyniyaz Myatiev. During the talks, the parties discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda and prospects for further development of Belarusian-Turkmen relations in politics, trade and economy and also the interaction between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries within the framework of international organizations.

The parties also reviewed the state of humanitarian cooperation, the legal framework and joint actions amid the difficult epidemiological situation in the world.
