MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) – A videoconference session of the Military Committee of the Collective Security Treaty Organization is scheduled for today. A delegation of Belarus' Armed Forces led by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, First Deputy Defense Minister Viktor Gulevich will participate in it, BelTA has learned.
Participants of the videoconference session are expected to exchange opinions about challenges and threats to military security in collective security regions of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. They will also discuss matters concerning preparations of command bodies and forces of the CSTO collective security system.
The session will contribute to the development of the military component of the organization.
