MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Tajikistan Viktor Denisenko met with Chairman of the upper chamber of the Tajikistan Parliament, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan, with an emphasis on the inter-parliamentary, interregional, trade and economic cooperation.
The sides positively hailed the dynamics of the development of Belarusian-Tajik relations, and expressed commitment to deepening contacts and implementing new joint projects in various areas. Following the conversation, new promising areas of cooperation between the two countries were outlined.
