MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Sudan have expressed readiness for stepping up mutually beneficial cooperation, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sudan to Belarus Mohammed Omer Musa Ali on 5 October.
During the meeting the sides exchanged opinions about key aspects of bilateral cooperation and possible avenues of interaction in politics, trade, economy, and humanitarian affairs.
Mutual interest in stepping up Belarusian-Sudanese contacts was confirmed as a result of the talk.
