MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia Ilina Vukajlović on 28 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed congratulations to the Belarusian leader from Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on his convincing victory in the presidential election.
The parties discussed topical matters of Belarusian-Serbian cooperation and ways to intensify it.
"The parties welcomed the recent intensification of bilateral contacts at various levels. The parties also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening multifaceted friendly relations between Minsk and Belgrade," the press service said.
Ilina Vukajlović invited Belarus to take part in the International Exhibition EXPO 2027, which will be held in Belgrade. In this regard, the parties discussed various aspects related to the organization of this event.
