MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yuri Ambrazevich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia to Belarus Ilina Vukajlovic on 18 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including modality of joint events. The parties also discussed cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, which the Republic of Serbia succeeded in 2006, were established in November 1994. Since 1996 the embassies of the two countries have been operating in Minsk and Belgrade.
