MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia held ministerial consultations on European security in Minsk on 29 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the talks the Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yuri Ambrazevich, the Russian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Grushko.
“During the consultations, the parties had a thorough exchange of views on the issues of cooperation between Belarus and Russia in the OSCE and the relations with the European Union, other European regional organizations,” the press service informed. “The parties emphasized the allied nature of the relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation and agreed to closely coordinate their actions in the OSCE, including in the run up to the 31st meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Malta.”
