MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – The fifth round of consultations on political affairs between the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Pakistani one took place in Minsk on 27 July, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolai Borisevich. The Pakistani delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Tariq. The current state and prospects of advancing Belarus-Pakistan cooperation were discussed, including the liberalization of visa regulations. Approaches to developing the legal base of Belarus-Pakistan relations were compared.
Close attention was paid to the organization of the mutual exchange of visits at various levels and to specific ways of invigorating trade and economic cooperation.
