Belarus, Nicaragua agree to cooperate amid growing external pressure

MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) - Belarus and Nicaragua agreed to continue close cooperation in international organizations in the difficult conditions of growing external pressure on the states, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told the media following the talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs Denis Moncada Colindres of Nicaragua in Minsk on 18 October, BelTA has learned.

Vladimir Makei stressed that Belarus is satisfied with the results of the negotiations and sees great prospects for the comprehensive expansion of ties based on friendship, mutual respect and mutual understanding.

He emphasized the readiness of the parties for further constructive work to bring the Belarusian-Nicaraguan cooperation to a new qualitative level and expressed confidence that the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries will continue to effectively interact and successfully solve the urgent tasks facing the states.
