MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Belarus strongly supports the government of Ecuador in its efforts to restore constitutional order, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anatoly Glaz told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“Belarus stands for strict observance of law and order. We believe that their violation inevitably leads to disastrous consequences, destruction and tragedies. This is the consistent position of our country. In this regard, we express our strong support for the government of the Republic of Ecuador as it is trying to restore constitutional order in the country and we uphold legitimate efforts of the authorities to quickly handle the critical situation and bring back peace and calm to the Ecuadorian streets and the Ecuadorian society,” Anatoly Glaz emphasized.
