MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed condolences over the death of Russian journalists, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“We express our condolences in connection with the death of the journalists from Channel One, the Zvezda TV channel and the Izvestia media organization. Attacks on media workers designated as such in line with international standards require an immediate response and effective action from specialized international organizations,” the press service remarked.
“The silence of the OSCE, UNESCO and the HRC once again calls into question their authority, impartiality and ability to protect journalists performing their professional duties,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
