Belarus, Iran discuss bilateral dialogue

MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Iran Yuri Lazarchik met with members of the working group of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran on cooperation with the National Assembly of Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Head of the working group Abolfazl Amouei hailed the interaction between the legislative bodies of the two states and stressed Iran's interest in continuing constructive cooperation. In turn, Yuri Lazarchik expressed hope for achieving practical results from joint work to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The parties confirmed fruitful nature of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Belarus and Iran, and also discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade and economic and legal sectors.
