MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Georgia Nikolai Rogashchuk held a meeting with Chairman of the Georgian Communications Commission Goga Gulordava, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Georgia.
The parties discussed issues of resuming ministerial cooperation, including the activation of areas of mutual interest, as well as ways to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on the experience of their countries in communication technologies. They emphasized the importance of establishing and maintaining working contacts in order to strengthen mutual trust and foster an open and equal dialogue between Belarus and Georgia.
The treaty on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and Georgia was signed and entered into force on 6 January 1994.
