MOSCOW, 10 June (BelTA) - Russia has never had and will never have any intention to go to war with Europe, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov said as he met with students at MGIMO University in Moscow on 10 June, BelTA has learned.
According to Maksim Ryzhenkov, there is a narrative in the West that as soon as Russia deals with Ukraine, “it will cross the border and go further to London, Paris and Berlin”. “When I meet with our partners from the West, I tell they that this is pure nonsense, and no one is going to war with anybody. There is a task to be solved, and the sooner you agree that Russia is right... Russia has never had and will never have any intention to go further. It is absolutely out of question for the Russian authorities, for the Russian people,” he said.
The Belarusian minister of foreign affairs stated that using the narrative about Russia being an aggressor and Belarus being its co-aggressor, the Western elites are militarizing their countries at the expense of their own taxpayers.
