MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kenya and concurrently to Ethiopia Pavel Vzyatkin presented his credentials to Ethiopia President Sahle-Work Sevda, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the conversation with the Ethiopia president, the Belarusian diplomat expressed interest in maintaining and strengthening friendly and mutually respectful relations between the two countries and in developing bilateral political dialogue.
The ambassador highlighted the significant potential for expanding trade and economic cooperation between the countries and implementing joint projects in agriculture and industry.
For her part, President Sahle-Work Sevde expressed her readiness to promote strong relations with Belarus in many areas.
