Belarus' embassy in China to host bilateral video conferences

MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) - The Belarusian embassy in China plans to host a number of video conferences with the participation of Belarusian regions and Chinese representatives to explain the issues related to doing business and trade between the two countries in the present-day conditions, Yuri Senko, who has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China, told the media on 19 November, BelTA has learned.

Yuri Senko noted that representatives of various ministries and departments, business will be invited to participate in these online meetings. The purpose of such events is to promote bilateral trade and simplify access to the Chinese market.

He stressed that the practice of such online meetings has proved efficient. The Belarusian embassy in Beijing has already held several such conferences and meetings. One of them was held in October with the participation of a large number of enterprises, businessmen, logistics companies of both countries. “Doing business rules were studied, a lot of questions were raised. Reference materials are currently prepared to explain all this to the business. We will continue this work. I am confident that it will give results,” Yuri Senko said.

The ambassador also emphasized the importance of further implementation of investment projects, including the Chinese Belt and Road initiative.
